Post-ops & Rehab Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy plays a vital role in your post-op recovery and rehab.
It’s common after orthopedic surgery (in particular) to require post-op support as physiotherapy plays a vital role in achieving your post-surgical outcomes.
Here at NGP, we take the time to answer any questions you may have to aid your recovery.
We will work with you and your surgeon to create a plan, answer any of your questions and guide you in helping you understand the schedule required to regain your functions.
Rehab normally starts on day 1! Starting early can help with pain control and mobility. Getting things moving (gently) helps you monitor your own improvements as well. Part of the plan will be a staged approach to help you gain strength and control by gradually restoring a range of motion.
